About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (DMS) to join their growing ultrasound team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, patient-centered clinical environment with a focus on high-quality diagnostic imaging and exceptional patient care.

The successful candidate will perform a range of ultrasound examinations, including Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM), Musculoskeletal (MSK), and Breast Ultrasound.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MFM, MSK, and Breast Ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure exceptional patient care while maintaining professionalism and compassion throughout the imaging process.
• Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures clearly.
• Operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining appropriate scanning protocols.
• Review images for quality, completeness, and appropriate documentation.
• Maintain accurate patient records and examination documentation.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, radiologists, and clinic staff to ensure efficient patient care.
• Follow applicable provincial regulations, quality assurance standards, and infection prevention protocols.

Qualifications

• Registration with Sonography Canada.
• Appropriate provincial registration/licensure to practise as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
• Demonstrated competence in MFM, MSK, and Breast Ultrasound.
• Experience performing MFM, MSK, and Breast scans in a clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound equipment and imaging protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care and image quality.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
• Eligible to work in Canada.
