Permanent CRNA Needed – North Central, IN

The Opportunity

We are actively seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a permanent assignment with prominent healthcare facility in Indiana. This opportunity supports both inpatient and outpatient scheduled clinical coverage for supplemental staffing needs.

Schedule & Logistics

• Dates of Need: ASAP start; ongoing coverage need.
• Shift Schedule: Scheduled clinical hours only; specific shift times to be confirmed by facility.
• Coverage Requirements: Supplemental coverage; 2 providers requested. Facility will accept multiple providers. Request type is permanent.
• Call Requirements: Locums call is not applicable; no call details provided.

Clinical Scope & Facility Details

• Patient Volume: Approximately 5 patients per shift; 20 beds in department.
• Patient Demographics: Adult cases required; pediatric, neonatal, OB, trauma, neuro, and complex specialty cases are not required based on the assignment request.
• Support Staff: RN: 1; MA: 1; PA/NPs: 0; Office Staff: 2. No APP supervision or resident/teaching supervision required.
• Facility Details: Facility is stroke certified. Trauma level: 0; PEDs level: 0. Practice setting includes inpatient and outpatient; both inpatient and outpatient coverage is not required.
• EMR System: Epic

Procedures & Competencies

• Required Core Procedures: General anesthesia, adult anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, regional anesthesia surgery, post-op epidural, post-op extremity blocks, use of x-ray guidance in performance of blocks, ventilation management, evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues, and arterial line placement.
• Preferred Skills: No preferred skills were specified in the assignment request.
• Acuity/Protocol Notes: Required surgery types include cardiac and regional. Complete ortho, complex vascular, head/spine, neuro, OB, pediatric, and thoracic are not expected. Admissions and rounding are not required.

Required Qualifications

• Board Status: Certified in Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Board certification must be for the specialty on the assignment request.
• Licensure: Active Indiana license or IMLC eligibility required.
• Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, and BLS required. ATLS, PALS, and other certifications are not required.
• Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated credentialing timeframe is 75 days. Hospital/surgery center privileges are required, and temporary privileges are not available.
• Malpractice/Insurance: Insurance provided by vendor.
• Allowed Holidays: New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
